Within the past 30 days, this project has shown a fluctuating level of social media activity. The data indicates that there have been periods of high activity, followed by periods of lower activity. However, overall, the project has maintained a consistent level of engagement on social media. The engagement seems to have peaked at certain points, but then remained relatively stable for the majority of the month. It is worth noting that there was a slight decrease in activity towards the end of the month, with the last two data points showing a slight decline. Nonetheless, the project has demonstrated a strong and consistent level of social media engagement throughout the month.
Ascend The End is a blockchain-based web3 game set in the year 2200, where players enter a post-apocalyptic world that has emerged from a devastating global conflict between two factions: the Alliance and the Confederation. This setting forms a desolate backdrop that marks the boundary between the Eastern and Western hemispheres, transforming Earth into a nearly uninhabitable rock.
The game merges elements of the extraction and battle royale genres, creating a dynamic and competitive environment. Players can choose from seven character types, each with unique abilities and roles within the game's ecosystem. These include GAID (AI model), Angels (Enforcer), Police AI (Enforcer), FER AI (Enlightened Cluster), Scavengers (Survivors), Zealots (Followers of Angels), and Raiders (Militants). Additionally, autonomous AI robots add another layer of interaction and challenge in the game.
Ascend The End is built on Unreal Engine 4, ensuring high-quality graphics and smooth gameplay. Players can customize their Exosuits and gear, adapting their tactics to a variety of gameplay scenarios. The game's narrative is driven by missions where players must scavenge for resources, raid opponents' bases, and survive against both the environment and other players. The competitive element is further enhanced through the leaderboard system, where players vie for better positions to earn $ASCEND tokens and other in-game rewards.
During the Closed Alpha phase, the developers actively engaged with the community, gathering feedback through various challenges like the Head Hunter Challenge and through direct interaction during gameplay live streams. Despite encountering bugs that affected the delivery of starting kits and other gameplay elements, the developers used these insights to improve the game, demonstrating their commitment to creating a responsive and player-focused gaming experience.
