Within the past 30 days, this project has maintained a consistent level of social media activity, with only a slight dip in engagement towards the middle of the month. Overall, the project has shown a steady level of engagement with no significant spikes or drops in activity.
Doctor Who: Worlds Apart offers players full ownership of their in-game items through the use of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on the blockchain.
To start, players can collect rare cards and build their decks before trading them in the marketplace. Each card collected will be tokenized into an NFT, which is secure and protected on the blockchain, preventing any disputes about ownership or duplication.
These NFTs will also be used to play in the upcoming trading card game, set to launch in 2021 as a closed Alpha (and 2022 for everyone else). With this system, players can fully own and control their items in-game, creating a new level of ownership and investment in the game.
