Empires Not Vampires, has raised $1 million to develop its latest game, Paradise Tycoon.

Finland-based indie games studio, Empires Not Vampires, has raised $1 million to develop its latest game, Paradise Tycoon. The round saw investments from various angel investors and VC funds, including Shima Capital, Zee Prime Capital, FOMOCraft Ventures and Firex Capital.

Empires Not Vampires was founded in 2017, Since then, they've grown into a close-knit team of 12 team members with over 70years of collective experience in the gaming industry. Empires Not Vampires is building the next generation of casual long-lasting games using blockchain technology. Their team of experienced games industry veterans have together worked with many known companies as well as published own IPs. 

What is Paradise Tycoon?
Paradise Tycoon is a free-to-play and play-and-earn game with an emphasis on social interaction. Paradise Tycoon gameplay is a unique hybrid of life simulation games like the ultra-popular Animal Crossing and Sims, and Tycoon & Builder games such as classic PC titles The Settlers or Railroad Tycoon.

Paradise Tycoon has two types of NFTs.
1. Crew Members which players can level up and assign to different tasks, have unique appearances and rarity from common to Legendary.
2. NFT lands, which have different sizes and ratings. The rating determines the resources players can collect, forage and farm as well as building types they can build on the land.
