The Fabled Announces Next Alpha Phase
The Fabled, a highly-anticipated combat RPG game, has announced its next Alpha phase scheduled for March 15, 2023. Following its first alpha phase launch in December 2022, the souls-like RPG game is returning for its next phase with new content for hardcore gamers to conquer.
Set in a deep and immersive fantasy world, The Fabled is an action-packed NFT game that models its difficulty after challenging games like Dark Souls and Sekiro. Players can choose from a set of Fables (classes!), including Gods and Warriors, to engage in fast-paced action combat sequences that require quick reflexes and skills.
The game launched the first phase of its alpha in December, which required a Mintpass and was open only to those included in the whitelist. Players quickly took note of the game's superb Unreal Engine 5 graphics and its variety of combat, which features bows, one-handed swords, and two-handed swords. Each weapon style comes with its own pros and cons. For example, bows favor players who want to deal damage from afar, while one-handed swords are much faster than their two-handed counterparts but deal less damage.
During the alpha, players finally got to experience the game for the first time. The demo showcased numerous styles of combat, different types of loot, and various enemies such as Skeletons and Ghouls.
Looking ahead, the developers of The Fabled have yet to disclose the new features included in the next phase of its alpha. However, players can expect to see new modes, new enemies, and more. The game's whitepaper reveals many more mechanics and features that have yet to be revealed, such as a dragon mount and Guild participation.
To stay updated on the latest developments, keep your eyes peeled for March 15th. In the meantime, you can learn more about The Fabled by checking out its game page on GameFi.to.
