Axie Infinity is Set to Introduce AXS Rewards in Homeland Alpha Season 1

Axie Infinity: Homeland Alpha Season 1 is Coming! Axie Infinity: Homeland, a land-based strategy game in the Axie ecosystem, is entering Alpha Season 1 on February 22nd. The new season will include AXS rewards for Passive Adventure and Land Development, allowing players to earn tradeable items. 

Homeland Alpha Season 1 will run for 30 days, allowing players to earn AXS tokens and cosmetic rewards for placing on the leaderboard and completing seasonal milestones. Top-ranking players on the Passive Adventure and Land Development leaderboards will be rewarded with mAXS tokens (1,000 mAXS = 1 AXS). 
To join the Land Development leaderboard, players must engage in activities such as gathering, producing, and crafting. The more productive they are, the more points they will get. On the other hand, those who wish to climb the ranks in Passive Adventure will need to send their Adventurers to defeat as many monsters as possible.

Aside from the AXS rewards, the team has released a few updates to the Passive Adventure mode. Starting from Alpha Season 1, players will be able to form a party of up to 3 adventurers. A few mechanics, like the overall speed of level-up gains, boss difficulty, and energy restoration, were reworked for a better gaming experience. 

First released in December 2022, Axie Homeland is the much-anticipated land gameplay designed for Axie landowners. Players with a Lunacia land plot will be able to access the game and guide their Axies to establish a thriving virtual settlement. As they progress, users will equip their native adventurers with the weapons, gears, and supplies required to defeat waves of enemies.
